Ok i create this poll because as some of you no,this forum is a restart of the old forum.

When we first start the old,we where allowed only torrent.

Then we see some member, that want to share their stuff, but was unable to as they didn`t understand how a torrent work.

The purpose of this poll is to help us determine how like & and how don`t like torrent.
Also it will help us determine who need help with torrent.

To finish it will make everyone no that we highly encourage torrent and its mostly to promote that section a bit more. ^^

So for people that would like to help promoting that section,but don`t no how to make torrent.

Well pm any mod or admin we will help you thanks everyone and keep the good work.

I vote I no & i care. as i always like torrent form since i discover them almost 4 years back i think.

yeah, i vote i know & i care.
ive been here since day one, and remember how we was a torrent only forum when we started this baby up.
then we opened the alternative dl section for requests and low bitrate albums.

its not like that anymore though.. lol

we cant promote torrents enough here, so this is a good poll skin man.

I vote "I new but don`t understand torrent" ???
As you may remember dudes, one of my first posts on the previous forum was asking for help on that subject.
In fact, I never posted before, so i proudly say i lost my virginity here at BDMC with my first post ever Disconformity (though not a torrent

)
I do use torrent to dl, though very rarely, as i don't understand a iota how it works. there is enough info on the web though (there is in fact enough info in wiki)
so it might be a matter of sitting my ass to lear how it works

I voted "Didn`t no & don`t care", cause I like the alternative section better (due to my connection and stuff), not because I don't give a fuck about torrents, in fact, I grab some once in a while

I like your reply mate infact most people don`t like torrent cos they die fast.

Its true but it take 1 minutes to redo and upload a torrent so in a way a torrent never die or it die untill someone need a reseed

yeah, today i used torrent to dl stuff from here, so now i leave the computer running all night (night? lol, here is already morning light

) to seed the stuff i got.
have to figure how to generate torrents and you got me promoting it dudes

To Bart & Vit: After upload the file to 100% to a leecher you can stop seeding your torrents...it's a bit more than the original file size so you don't get that much more traffic as you would upload it to a file host!

I voted i know and i care because i was one of the original members (well close enough anyway) and i remember how awesome our little forum was. Still great now, but it seemed better as just a torrent site

I voted - I no and I care.

I find it much easier to use now that I understand them a bit better. I like that your upload/download will resume if your connection fails (unlike free alternative d/l).

I almost chose 'I new and don't understand' because I had a lot of trouble at first, sometimes I still do!

The only thing that sux is that I only have 256/64, so uploading is very slow for me with both torrent and alternative share!

Yeah making torrent is not an easy thing to start with,but once you manage to understand how a torrent work,its all become easier

Well a site like here as good seeder, so when you release a torrent and have a few seed, people should be able to take over the job.

i wish i could seed orrents better but i have a router/firewall problem that makes it hard for me. As well as the program i use (Shareaza) isn't that great either. so the alt section is better for me

I remember when this site was just for torrents. I use to download and seed them but more often than not it wouldnt work as there werent any seeders and i lost out on so much stuff. Thats why to me alternative is better as you dont need seeds to download anything and it doesnt take ages to download.

I vote 'I No & I Care' Fuck, I've been around since even before this forum. Even before the one before this... hmm. Was gone for awhile. Hence why my post count is soo small, and I havn't posted a torrent in a while. But I still have alot more faith in torrents than rapidshare. It's friendlier...
