Step by step on how to rip with exact audio copy,with setting second topic.


Ok to try to help members that have original cd,that would like to rip & share with us this is for you. :laugh02:


Put a CD in give windows the time to read the cd then start eac you get that screen.



In this CD case ,the info as been found from the Database,as you start eac it try to connect to accuratrip server.
So we are now almost ready to rip,i will cover setting in another topic after this one  biggrin

Select all file ,then clic mp3 button,the eac will start ripping the CD,wich gonna look like this.




Once the rip is done you`ll have all your file in the folder you set up. biggrin

It is very easy to do that once the software is properly setup. ^-(

The next attached topic will cover all general setting,step by step with pics ,so you guys should be able to rip. !!^^!!

How to setup exact audio copy,general setting.

First option block. :laugh02:

Start eac ,clic eac menu :laugh02:


Chose EAC option wou`ll get that screen.


Clic Extraction see my setting,now see evry page here and make it for your own setting.
Modified what need to be modified ,like folder location.

Extraction setting box
   

General box option.



Tool box option.



Normalize box option leave the check box uncheck as you don`t want to normalize the file,next box.

File name box option.



Catalog box option leave it as default.

Directories chose one of your choice here mine.




The write box option i think i left it as default but here is my setting.







Second option block.
Ok that block of option was for eac now lets setup the drive option as a second block of option.

EAC menu ,Drive option.

Ok here is the extraction method



Drive option box



Ofset / speed option box very important you have to find what is the offset read of your drive every drive as a different offset position.
Hondoh as a website for many drive seting so all ask him later.




Gap detection box opton.




Write option box i leave it as default as i don`t really write audio cd with eac it happen some time ,but the audio seem to be burn alright with 0 as offset.




Ok this endup the second block option lets go to the third  (@ :laugh02:






Third option block


EAC menu Compression option box


Skip wave form.


External compression here it is very important to setup the lame encoder that can be downloaded here.
http://lame.sourceforge.net/download.php that is the first website that pop up so should be good,i recommend lame 3.93.1 it is better then the the 3.97 that was the last stable version.




Offset box again.



Id tag box option.







Here we go if you make sure that all of these setting are fine it should work just fine for all.


Here is the picture for this tutorial,in the case of the hoster delete all pics.

Right clic my computer chose properties then chose device manager in your device manager open the dvd cd rom tab it should look like this.

Use you DVD to rip so you have a Optiarc DVD model AD-7581S,never heard that brand lol also i think you can get rid of those cdrom ahahah the DVD can do it all. %4

Hey bro just to say its not all cd that support accurate rip,i mean its not all original cd that is burned using that technology.
Out of my 80 original i have only my skinless and my abnormal atrocity that are ripped as accurate rip,but once you have a cd that is detected as accurate rip send the info,so that accurate rip will be stored in a DB for future rip from other.

I can`t explain what is it in a few words,but there is not many cd in are music that can be detect as a accurate rip. %4    


Oh by the way that accurate rip address is not working here too its a domain not found. 55%% ahaha usually its server not found  55%% %4

i need help with new EAC version. i downloaded and installed EAC 1.0 beta 2 and it's not possible to rip audio CD in flac.
I used this command code: -8 -V -T "artist=%a" -T "title=%t" -T "album=%g" -T "date=%y" -T "tracknumber=%n" -T "genre=%m" -T "comment=EAC FLAC" %s -o %d
That worked with the older version but not with the new one. I get alway this error message: Invalid replacement tag found!
