I do have to be honest, I much prefer the direct hosting links (megaupload, mediafire, etc.), since the torrents relies too much on other people for you to be able to get the files. And with the few torrent files that I had attempted to get from here, there were barely any seeders, and I ended up having to give up on downloading the files because it would have taken much too long. With the direct hosting, it's all right there in one neat lil' package, and you don't have to much rely on everyone else that has it to be online or be seeding it still. It's just... there.
Easier for uploading, but also easier for downloading, in my opinion. While it's true that torrents don't have a download limit or waiting times between downloads, it still, more often than not with stuff I try to find via torrents, takes forever to download, mostly because other people are too unreliable when it comes to that sort of thing. So, a download limit to me is no problem. We're getting the stuff for free, so why complain about something as simple as that? Limit or not, it's basically guaranteed that you're going to get it, since you don't have to rely on other people (other than the uploader, so he can upload it. Duh.) to be able to get it.Overall, seems more convenient to me.

My net is so shitty that I prefer using torrents when sharing files because of the timeouts I get uploading.... However I prefer using file sharing sites to download because they last longer than torrents usually... If you ran a private tracker and enforced a ratio system but also encouraged with a point system (points for uploads and points for seeding for a certain time to be used to increase ratio) you might get longer life out of your torrents... Since this community already is semi-private and hates leeching that would be a good choice... However setting up a tracker system requires you to be on a server that has more than 10 concurrent connection ports open and allows torrents... Since faggots in american government have made it difficult for torrent sites you will have to put it in russia or singapore haha OR you could run your own dedicated server if you know how to do such things...
I'm not touching torrents until I get my own connection. Getting all sort of emails from my IP about torrent usage
