Any certain tricks you guys use to warm up? Want to make sure I am not missing out on something that could really be helping me out. All I know is milk and stuff to start out, then water that is around room temperature during.

Cats drink milk too but they are not brutal

but maybe you can do screams

Everyone cant make vox but just practice youll be better

I usually just sing to my self (or what ever you call gore-ish vocals) and maybe drink something that kinda flems up the throat.

I drink dry champagne to get good growls and screams.
(Usually two bottles are enough

) Some mints are nice too

Warm your vocal chords a little bit before doing gutturals, inhales or whatever and keep them lubricated and if you feel it hurts just stop for a few minutes.

Yeah, inhales are pretty terrible for you. I don't know the science behind it either, but stories are enough for me to believe :p.

for example corpsegrinder fisher cant talk straight ....he uses the same sound as he growls...he himself says he did wrong and now his condition is this......but other guys like chris barnes still can talk in a normal voice when not doin vox ...i think
