Gotz me a new Geetar

Jackson USA Select SL2H Soloist

It's so fucking crazy how good a guitar can actually sound when you have the money to buy the most high end one. I bought this guitar used. If it wasn't for ebay I wouldn't of been able to get this guitar, because I can't afford to pay 2 thousand dollars for a guitar LOL. It's nice when you can do your own setups as well. You can get it just how you want it. Every note and every chord is distinct and lush sounding. FUCKING LOVE IT...

100% agreed. I used to pay to get my guitar setups done every few months; until a guitar tech (who is also a friend of mine) told me that I should learn how to do it myself. It took some time but I love being able to set up my own guitars because now they are always set up according to what MY HANDS find comfortable. And I save money too. ^-(

Very nice guitar Phil. I happy that you like it so much. A guitar that feels just right makes a huge difference. %4

Well it actually feels weird lol, but not in a bad way. I'm just used to crazy shaped metal guitars. And this one is super light and extremely easy to play. Like as if it plays it self. I think every guitar takes a little time getting used to. It's just a matter of building that bond between the guitar and it's player.  :laugh02:

Yeah, it usually does take some time to get used to a new guitar.

I bought this one a couple of years ago:
Spoiler

At first it took a while to get used to the wide neck and the longer scale length (26.5) but now I love this guitar! I have 3 guitars and I play this one almost exclusively. The problem now is when I play six-string guitars, the necks usually feel too small. :laugh02: I can still play them of course, but they feel so different now that my hands are accustomed to my current guitar.

I'm going to keep it stock. they knew what they were doing when building this guitar lol. I  don't think it needs to be changed at all.
