Computer Help - Straight answers

So, i cannot play sims 3 on my computer, so i am buying a new one.

This ones old anyways, crashes everytime i even play simple games like theme hospital (1995).

So click the tabs below and answer the questions below: Money is no object.

1) Would it play sims 3, spore high res etc games on?
2) Will it run fast (the game) even if i had other things going on (like downloads)
3) If another game came out i liked and it was even more better in specs (to play it) than sims3 would it be able to play it?
3a) Graphics card good? upgradeable?
3b) video card good? upgradeable?
4) if one of the links is not a computer you had in mind before reading their specs. Please leave a link in your comment.

I am simple with computers (don't have a clue how they work), [more of a computer whiz with browsers and stuff like that not the hardware that make games work, better with consoles too], so speak like you are speaking to a person who knows nothing.

It's better to build (or ask someone to help you with it) your own gaming pc, it would may cost you a bit less than pre customed ones. 


The basic needs:

Intel Core i7 (I recommend for any game)
ASUS or Gigabyte Motherboard (new model boards have built-in gigabyte ethernet network cards, not need to buy extra)
Nvidia Graphic (i recommend their Video cards)
8GB ram (new motherboards supports upto 12+ GB rams, upgradeable)
Western Digital HDD
DVD burner + bluray reader or Bluray Combo (optional)
Windows Ultimate 7 64-bit
