Oke,
Monday i'll leave for a short trip to New York!!
I prommised my wife i'll put my last cigarette out on sunday........
i'm realy determent to stop, but i know it will be hard so,please encourage me, so that i can keep my prommise!!

Doing that on your vacation may be a good idea. You will have so much going on that you will forget that you want a smoke!

Congrats on your decision mate. I quit a year and a half ago (after smoking for 18 years) and I feel great.

If I could quit smoking back in 2004 after 20 years of smoking, you can do it too. It is all about WILL and strength. I know that the brutal twins are filled with ambition, so just for the hell of it, show the world you are capable of doing this. The first 4 months are critical until your lungs and respiratory ways clean up. After eating, when you have a drink with your friends and when you have useless time, then is the devil the most powerfull ... those are the situations when you have to resist.

I've stopped for 9 months after 20 years of smoking and absolutely no regrets.A bit hard at the beginning but if you are determined It's really possible.Good luck,I'm sure you can do it

Quitting is a big deal, and extremely hard to follow through.

I am a heavy smoker, and i have been thinking about quitting. (like all smokers do once or twice.

)
but thats where it stops, just thinking about quitting makes me feel sick, lol.
for me, maybe i really dont wanna quit, i enjoy my cigarettes.

to be able to quit you really have to want it, and you have to put youre mind to it.
its all in youre head man, if you really wanna quit you can do it, just be strong mate.

For somebody like me who spent around 200 euro every month for sigarettes , going from that to 0 sigarettes a day , it's not easy for me, so cut me some slack will yah...None of my friends thought I could actually do it for more than three days and they're all "if you can keep on doing this, everyone can!" Sigarettes we're more than just sigarettes to me, I'm schizophrenic/psychotic and sigarettes were a part of my own therapy for keeping myself calm and "happy" until I figured that I need to go through life by myself instead of being dependent of things like sigarettes ( I am very dependent of my medication though but thats something I cant quit, only reduce )
And by the way, I call it quitting because its my intention to never smoke again, you could see it as an optimistic view on my smoking behavior

Anyway, I get what you're trying to say though, the period im in now would be the period that I could fall back into my smoking behavior and not really have quitted yet a 100% BUT as I said, I'm looking at it optimistic and in a way of "I'm never gonna smoke again" , dont know if you understand my strange logic in this though...

Sorry for the huge rant here, it just kinda upsetted me, I have failed in most things in life , but I won't fail at not smoking.
