I'm would like to know if someone like this sport : Mixed Martial Arts or Free fight (known at the beginning as ultimate fighting).
The fights are in a cage,and it's a mix between several sports:boxing,muy thay,brazilian ju jitsu and several others.
I'm totaly mad about this sport for years.

I love MMA, avid watcher of UFC, WEC (now both UFC), Strikeforce, Sendoku Raiden, Bellator, Dream FC etc etc

Even trained in MMA myself for a while when I gave up karate.

Cool guys.Who are your favourites ?

I watch essentially UFC and Strikeforce. I like the style of Jon Bones, Jose Aldo , Junior Dos Santos, Georges Sotiropoulos and Charles Oliveira for the new school.

For the "old ones", I'm a big fan of Dan Henderson, Matt Hugues and Shogun Rua

Me too.Never been impressed by his style.I think he'been very lucky in front of Carwin and Mir (the second time) and he'll never get the heavy weight belt now.

Lesnar is a freak, the only thing impressive is his speed and weight combo. I really, really, really hope JDS puts him to sleep!

Impressed by Pat Barry and Matt Mitrione at the UFN 23.I've never thought I could appreciate their fights before this event.So MMA is full of suprises, that's what I love in this sport.
Melvin Guillard is my new hero, incredible speed: I've seen his right cross only with the slow motion

Havent seen it yet, the sites I use seem to be down a lot lately. But the card seemed better then ufc125 (fuck Frankie Edgar for taking it to decision again)

Yeah, Edgar/Maynard has been a deception for me too,I thought Maynard would crush Edgar in the first round.Congrats to Edgar however, he's really strong and made some great takedowns.
I appreciated the fights of clay Guida and thiago Silva too.

Guida never dissapoints. He isnt the most technical and talented guy, be he more then makes up for it in fighting spirit and showmanship in the ring

I am really looking forward to seing the WEC guys fight the UFC guys in the next shows. The lightweight devision is going to be a blast with fighters like Cerrone and Henderson added to the list

Totally agree.Waiting for Aldo and some others.Have heard of Cerrone but I've never seen one of his fights.I'l check it on the net

So anyone watched the Strikeforce tournament start? Strikeforce delivers some entertaining shows imo. I wish I had put some real money on the Fedor vs Silva fight, strange how many people didnt see it coming
